History


The Nightfall Syndicate was formed by Tarus Konton after his exile from House Dzemael in Ishgard. Taking his connections made in Ishgard as well as the skills learned in dealing with Ishgardian nobility, Tarus found himself in La Noscea where he founded the syndicate as a form of consultancy for the lesser gangs and organizations there. The opportunity to build a reputation in the underworld quickly became a reality as he used his influence to obtain a variety of items, creatures, and weapons that he sold to the highest bidder.

As the consultancy grew so did Tarus' ambition to see it become something greater. Still spiteful about his past in Ishgard and the current state of affairs in the world he decided to take the consultancy and begin laying the groundwork to becoming a syndicate of their own. One that will eventually reshape the way of Eorzea and its city states.

Nightfall Syndicate is a 18+ RP free company on Mateus.

The Nightfall Syndicate operates as a criminal consultancy/syndicate that takes on various contracts from other gangs or organizations at a fee. The Syndicate also has its own agenda to expand its influence in the underworld and grow in power so that they may begin to control the tide of Eorzea from the shadows.

We welcome players of any kind and ask that they respect the Free Company as a family and work together to reach our goals.

Code

There are only two paths you can choose. You can sit quietly and be selected out of this world, or you can adapt and change.


Overall rules

1. Be respectful to others in the Syndicate

2. Racism, homophobia, sexism, etc WILL NOT be allowed

3. Players inactive for three or more months risk being removed from the Free Company during inactivity sweeps. If you know you are going to be absent- such as those busy with school, work, or military- please inform us so we don’t remove you. We respect that the real world has priority, and try our best to be understanding.

4. Players must be 18 and older to join the Free Company. Nightfall Syndicate is a mature Free Company, and often tackles darker matters. Anyone found lying about their age, and being under the age of 18, will be removed from the Free Company.

5. Self-control is preferable. Players will be held accountable for actions performed under the influence of drugs or alcohol, no exceptions. If you break a rule (or do something equally irresponsible) while drunk, you will receive the same treatment as if you had broken the rule while sober.


RP Rules

1. All standard rules are still enforced.

2. Respect your fellows. Infighting only leads to a weaker bond, and so within the syndicate, please try not to deny your fellows the respect they are due.

3. Respect our allies. We have friends living outside our underworld who have risked much for us- We do not have room to make more enemies than we already have.

4. Treason is unacceptable. To betray the syndicate for any reason is a sin against us and will not be tolerated.

5. Do not share or disclose the dealings of our organization with anyone it does not directly involve. If they are not already aware then they do not need to know.

Hierarchy


Head of the Syndicate

The leader of the organization. Oversees everything from the highest level and leads the organization to their goals

Council

Those who have a seat at the table and decide the direction the organization will move in.

Nightweaver

High ranking members who have displayed a strong sense of loyalty to the organization.

Nightstalker

Those recognized by the organization and act in the best interest of the syndicate.

Shadow

The newest additions who must prove their worth to the organization.
